November 21, 2006 - Yaakov Yaakobov, 43, injured in rocket attack Tuesday morning, died in Soroka Hospital. Yaakobov sustained severe head injury, wounded by shrapnel.

November 15, 2006 - Fatima Slutsker, 57, was killed and Maor (ben Dorit) Peretz, 24-year-old security guard assigned to the residence of Defense Minister Amir Peretz had his legs severed from shrapnel Wednesday morning by a Qassam rocket in a residential area of the western Negev town of Sderot, close to the home of Defense Minister Amir Peretz.

November 1, 2006 - Staff Sergeant Kerell Golenshin, 21, of Moshav Shekef, was killed overnight during exchanges of fire with Palestinian gunmen, during an IDF operation against rocket launching infrastructure in the area of Beit Hanun.

September 12, 2006 - A senior IDF scout was shot and killed at close range by Palestinians today during an operation against terror infrastructure in Gaza.

August 23, 2006 - Staff Sergeant Alex Assaf, 21, of Carmiel, a Givati Brigade soldier was killed after IDF forces walked into a minefield in southern Lebanon Wednesday morning.

August 19, 2006 -  Lieutenant Colonel Emanuel Moreno, 35, of Moshav Tlamim, was killed and two wounded Friday night in an operation near Baalbek to prevent the smuggling of arms from Iran and Syria to Hizbullah.

July 6, 2006 - Staff Sergeant Yehuda Bassel, 21, of Moshav Yinon, was killed by a sniper’s bullet on Thursday in an area south of the former Jewish settlement of Dugit in Gush Katif.
Yehuda was critically injured with a gunshot wound in the head during a firefight but could not be immediately evacuated due to the fierce battle between IDF forces and terrorists. He was evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheba and died of his wounds shortly after.

June 25, 2006 - Security officials report that Eliyahu Asheri, 18, from Itamar, was murdered Sunday night, June 25, shortly after he was seized by Palestinian kidnappers at the French Hill junction in northern Jerusalem.

June, 25, 2006 - Lieutenant Chanan Barak, 20, from Arad, and Staff Sergeant Pavel Slutzker, 20, from Dimona, were killed and Corporal Gilad Shalit, 19,  from Mitzpe Hila, was kidnapped when Hamas and other armed Palestinian groups attacked an IDF post within Israeli territory near the Gaza Strip border, in the pre-dawn hours Sunday.

June 11, 2006 - Marwan Abed Shweika, 35, of the Abu Tor neighborhood in Jerusalem was killed and two other Arab Israelis were wounded in a shooting attack while driving late at night West Bank highway north of Jerusalem.

May 14, 2006 - Daniel Wultz, the 16-year-old American teen who was injured in the April bombing at a food stand in Tel Aviv’s Central Bus Station, dies of his wounds at Ichilov Hospital; his death brings bombing death toll to 11.

April 17, 2006 - A Palestinian suicide bomber killed nine people and wounded at least 65 others, six of them seriously, in an explosion near the old central bus station in southern Tel Aviv on Monday afternoon.

March 30, 2006 - Four Israelis were killed when an Arab terrorist from Fatah's Al-Aksa Brigade dressed as a Jewish hitchhiker blew himself up inside the car of those who picked him up near Kedumim, in Samaria.

March 16, 2006 - Staff Sergeant Ido Shapira, 20, from Haifa was shot & killed Thursday in a gun battle with Palestinian gunmen during an arrest raid in Jenin.

March 1, 2006 - Eldad Abir, 48, was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in a terrorist attack at a gas station just outside the West Bank settlement of Migdalim, southeast of Nablus.

February 5, 2005 - Kinneret Ben Shalom Hajbi, 58, of Petah Tikva , was murdered and five people were injured – four of them seriously – by a Palestinian knifeman who went on a stabbing rampage in a Petah-Tikva minibus terror attack.

December 29, 2005 - First Lieutenant Uri Binamo, 21, from Nesher, was killed and three other soldiers were wounded Thursday morning after a suicide bomber struck at an army roadblock near a West Bank village in the Tul Karem region.

December 16, 2005 - Yossi Shok, 35, father of five, from Beit Hagai, was murdered and two women suffered from shock, after gunmen traveling in vehicle open fire at Israeli car south of Hebron Friday; Fatah, Islamic Jihad claim responsibility.

December 8, 2005 - Sgt. Nir Kahane, 20, from Kiryat Tivon, was murdered north of Jerusalem, near Atarot, at a military checkpoint, the soldier was stabbed in his neck and died. The Arab murderer was caught.

December 5, 2005 - At least five people were killed Monday and 66 others were wounded, including four seriously, when a suicide bomber blew himself up at around 11:30 A.M. at the entrance to Hasharon shopping mall in Netanya.

November 6, 2005 - Genia Poleis, 66, from Hadera, died Saturday of injuries from the Oct. 26 Palestinian suicide bombing of the Hadera market, bringing the attack’s death toll to six.

November 2, 2005 - Sgt. Yonatan Evron, 20, from Rishon Letzion, was killed Wednesday in a shootout with armed Palestinians in the northern West Bank village of Kfar Mirka, near Jenin.

October 26, 2005 - Five killed, 30 injured by a Palestinian suicide bomber who blew himself up at a food stand in the crowded Hadera market in central Israel.
The victims are: Michael Kaufman, 68, Yaakov Rachmani, 68, and Pirhiya Machlouf, 53 – from Hadera, Sabiha Nissim, 66, from Moshav Ahituv, and Jamil Ka'adan, 48, from Baqa al-Garbiya.

October 16, 2005 - Three Israelis were killed and five were wounded in two back-to-back shooting attacks along Highway 60, a north-south route in the West Bank, on Sunday afternoon.
All three of the victims were residents of the Southern Hebron Hills:
Kinneret Mandel, 21, and her cousin, Matat Rosenfeld-Adler, 21, both of the settlement of Carmel.
Adler, was married three months ago.

Shortly after the attack, Palestinians opened fire again near the settlement of Eli, also in the West Bank, seriously wounding a 14-year-old Israeli boy.

October 15, 2005 - Second Lt. Ariel Buda, 21, of Tel Aviv, who suffered critical wounds in a terrorist shooting attack nine months ago, died of his wounds.
The attack occurred in January of this year near Migdalim, between Shechem and the Jordan Valley.

September 26, 2005 - Sasson Nuriel, 55, an Israeli from Jerusalem’s Pisgat Zeev was murdered by a Hamas gang from Ramallah after his abduction on September 21st.

August 28, 2005 - Suicide bomber strikes outside central bus station in southern town of Be'er Sheva Sunday morning; bus driver suspects terrorist, informs security guards. Bomber detonates himself prematurely after being spotted; two guards seriously wounded.

August 24, 2005 - Shmuel Matt, 21, a British yeshiva student, was murdered Wednesday evening in a knife attack by a Palestinian in the Old City of Jerusalem, close to the Jaffa Gate. A fellow student was moderately wounded.

July 23, 2005 - Dov, 58, and Rachel Kol, 53, a married couple from Jerusalem who had come to Gush Katif to visit family, were killed Saturday night when gunmen opened fire on their car as they were travelling on the road linking the Kissufim crossing to the Gush Katif settlement bloc in the southern Gaza Strip.

July 14, 2005 - Dana Gelkowitz, 22, from kibbutz Brur Chail, was killed in a four missile Qassam barrage of Moshav Netiv Ha’asara north of the Gaza Strip.

July 12, 2005 - A soldier & four Israeli women killed, 90 injured, 3 seriously, including a 3 year-old child, when Palestinian suicide bomber detonated 10-kilo bomb vest outside Hasharon Mall in Netanya.

June 29, 2005 - Corporal Uzi Peretz, 20, from Be'er Shevawas killed and three others were lightly wounded when Hezbollah launched a coordinated attack Wednesday afternoon on military positions on the Israel-Lebanon border.

June 26, 2005 - Aviad Mantzur, 17, of Otniel, died Sunday morning of wounds sustained in the Friday afternoon drive-by terror shooting near the southern West Bank settlement of Beit Haggai.

June 24, 2005 - Avichai Levy, 17, of Beit Hagai was killed and four other people were wounded in a drive-by shooting attack near the South Hebron Hills settlement of Beit Hagai. The victims were part of a group waiting for a lift.

June 20, 2005 - Palestinian gunmen near the northern West Bank city of Tul Karm opened fire on a car carrying two Israelis in an ambush early Monday, killing the driver identified as Yevgeny Rider, 28, from Hermesh and lightly wounding his 15-year-old passenger.

June 19, 2005 - Gunmen firing anti-tank missiles and small arms killed an IDF soldier, Sgt.-Maj. Avi Karuchi, 25, from Beersheva, and wounded two others Sunday in attacks on the Philadelphi Route in the southern Gaza Strip.

June 7, 2005 - Three workers were killed when a Qassam rocket hit a packing shed belonging to Amnon Ditor, a resident who grows chives, in Ganei Tal, in the Gaza Strip, penetrating the building's roof and exploding indoors. A Chinese worker and a Palestinian died on the spot; another Palestinian worker died of his wounds later and five other Palestinian workers were injured. The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Chinese worker killed has been identified as Bi Shude, 45, from Jilin province in northeastern China. One of the Palestinian workers killed was Salah Ayash Amran, 57, of Khan Yunis, married and the father of 8.

 

May 2, 2005 - Staff Sgt. Dan Talesnikov, 21, from Nir Galim dies of wounds, second Israeli soldier injured in firefight with Palestinian Jihad Islami suspects who started shooting at IDF patrol outside Seideh north of Tulkarm early Monday. Palestinian wanted for Tel Aviv nightclub bomb attack was killed in exchange after “escaping” Palestinian detention. Second suspect captured later.

January 21, 2005 - Ella Abukasis, 17, died of her wounds, she was critically wounded Saturday evening, January 15th, when a Qassam rocket landed in a residential area in the southern city of Sderot.

January 18, 2005 - Oded Sharon, 36, of Gan Yavne, a Shin Bet officer was killed and 8 security personnel were wounded, when a Palestinian suicide bomber detonated explosives in an area designated for inspecting suspicious persons and vehicles, at the Gush Katif junction.

January 13, 2005 - Six Israelis killed, 5 injured, by huge blast staged by two Palestinian suicide bombers with bomb truck at Karni goods crossing from Gaza to Israel Thursday night. Fierce battle erupted after blast when waiting Palestinian gunmen opened fire on Israelis manning crossing and ambulances evacuating casualties. Bomb estimated at 150 kilos blew hole in wall dividing Israeli and Palestinian sections of terminal.

January 12, 2005 - Gideon Rivlin, 50, a father of five from the Ganei Tal settlement in the Gaza Strip, was killed and four Israel Defense Forces troops were wounded when an explosive device went off along a patrol route near the settlement of Morag in the southern Gaza Strip.

January 11, 2005 - Nissim Arbiv, 26, from the Gaza Strip settlement of Nissanit, died Tuesday of wounds sustained from a mortar shell attack in Gaza January 2nd.  Arbiv was injured by a shell while working at the Erez Industrial Zone in the northern Gaza Strip.

January, 9, 2005 - An IDF officer, Captain Sharon Elmakayes, 23, from Atlit, was killed after an explosive device was activated by the Hezbollah terror organization, which was planted on a road leading to an IDF post in Har- Dov.

January 7, 2005 - Staff Sergeant Yosef Attiah, 21, from Petach Tikva,  was killed and three were wounded on Friday afternoon when two Palestinian gunmen fired at an Israeli car traveling between the Tapuah and Migdalim Junctions near Nablus on the West Bank.

December 22, 2004 - Salem (Sami) al-Kimlat  , 28, a security guard, from the Bedouin town of Rahat in the Negev, was killed Wednesday afternoon when two Palestinian gunmen fired on the civilian, who was guarding parked bulldozers near a section of the separation fence west of the West Bank city of Hebron.

December 21, 2004 - Israeli mother of four, Ariela Fahima, 39, murdered by Palestinian terrorists outside her home in Nekhosha, SW of Jerusalem. She was found by her children Tuesday with her throat slit.

December 14, 2004 - Jitladda Tap-arsa, 19, a female agricultural worker from Udon Thani’s Nong Han district in northereastern Thailand, was killed and two other foreign workers from Thailand and Nepal were wounded by mortar shells fired at Ganei Tal in the Gush Katif settlement bloc from the Gaza Strip.

December 12, 2004 - Five soldiers of the Beduin Desert Batallion were killed and six more wounded, with another soldier buried beneath rubble, when a tunnel filled with explosives blew up underneath the side of an IDF post near the Rafah terminal in the southern Gaza Strip early Sunday evening.

December 7, 2004 - Staff Sgt. Nadav Kudinsky, 20, from Kiryat Gat, was killed, four soldiers injured in bomb trap laid by Hamas near Gaza Strip-Israel Karni goods crossing early Tuesday.
Member of canine unit, Kudinsky with dog was leading Golani Brigade patrol sweeping zone for bombs, fugitives and smuggled weapons.

November 29, 2004 - Captain Moshe Taranto, 23, from Ashdod,  was killed and another soldier injured when Palestinian smuggling tunnel caved in and trapped them for several hours Monday opposite IDF Hardon position on Egyptian Philadelphi border route.

November 6, 2004 -  Israeli soldier Corp. Tom Dekel, 20, from Eilat, was killed, 2 of his comrades injured, by friendly fire Saturday night while pursuing Palestinian terrorists near Eilar village in Tulkarm district of West Bank. One terrorist killed, second injured. For the chase, the Israeli force split up and in the dark one group mistook the other for its quarry.

November 1, 2004 - Radical Popular Front claimed Palestinian suicide bombing. Three people - two women and one man - were killed and 38 people  wounded when a male suicide bomber blew up at a kosher cheese deli in the busy Carmel Market in central Tel Aviv just after 11:15 a.m. Monday.

October 28, 2003 - Staff Sergeant Michael Chizik, 21, of Tiberias, has died of wounds sustained in Palestinian mortar strike against IDF position near Morag in Gaza Strip early Thursday. Six more soldiers injured - three seriously.

October 21, 2004 - Sergeant-Major Moshe Elmaleh, 34, from Dimona, was killed Thursday afternoon when an explosive device was detonated next to IDF troops on the Philadelphi Route in the southern Gaza Strip.

October 19, 2004 - Staff Sgt. Yair Turjeman, 21, from Kiryat Arba, Hebron, shot dead Tuesday in his tent at Menashe Brigade command post near Mevo Dotan in northern West Bank. Al Aqsa Brigades of Arafat’s Fatah claimed responsibility.

October 7, 2004 - Final death toll in terrorist bombing at Taba Hilton is 31, of whom 12 Israelis, 6 Egyptians, 4 Russians and 2 Italians. Five or six bodies unidentified. Another 2 or 3 killed in second explosion at Ras al-Satan. A total of 124 people were injured.
No more Israelis reported missing.

October, 4 2004 - Border policeman Staff Sgt. Ronen Ben-Meiri, 31, from Haifa, died of injuries sustained in Ramallah firefight Monday night when Israeli special unit broke up Palestinian terrorist cell, killing 2 – including very senior terror operative - and injuring 5. Authorities probing possibility Sgt. Meiri killed by friendly fire.

September 30, 2004 - Shulamit Batito, 36, from Nisanit, and Sgt. Victor Ariel, 20, were killed when Palestinians opened fire on them between the northern Gaza settlements of Alei Sinai and Nissanit. Shulamit was hit as she was jogging along the road between the two settlements and died immediately. Victor tried to give the woman medical care, thinking she may have survived the attack, but then a hand grenade was thrown at him and he too was killed on the spot.

September 29, 2004 - Qassam missile from Gaza lands in group of playing children in Israeli town of Sderot, killing Yuval Abebeh, 4 and Dorit Aniso, 2, Wednesday night. Doctors fighting to save life of a critically injured 10-year old. At least 30 hurt, including many shock victims.

September 23, 2004 - Israeli woman, Tiferet Tratner, 24, formerly of Jerusalem, who is also a U.S. citizen, killed by mortar shell that smashed into Neve Dekalim home in Gaza Strip early Friday. Another Israeli injured.

September 23, 2004 - An Israel Defense Forces officer and two soldiers were killed and a fourth soldier critically wounded Thursday morning in an intense gun battle with Palestinian gunmen in an outpost near the southern Gaza settlement of Morag. Soldiers shot dead the two gunmen who had penetrated the strongpoint.
The soldiers killed are:
Captain Tal Bardugo, 22, from Jerusalem.
 St.-Sergeant Nir Sami, 21, from Jerusalem.
 St.-Sgt. Yisrael Lutati, 20, from Nevei Dekalim.

September 22, 2004 - Arafat's Fatah-al Aqsa Brigades-Jenin claimed suicide bombing that killed 2 Border Policemen, Momoya Tahio, 20, from Rechovot, and Menashe Komemi, 19, from Moshav Aminadav, injured 17 - at least one critically. Veiled 19-year old woman bomber reached guard post of military hitch-hiking post on foot from nearby Ramallah district. She detonated her bomb when challenged by a Border Policeman.

August 31, 2004 - 16 killed, 100 injured, in Be'er Sheva in separate suicide bombing attacks on two Israeli buses in south Israeli town on city's main street Rager Blvd.
Explosions struck bus passengers, passing vehicles and pedestrians near town hall and Soroka Hospital. Terrorists may have come from Mt. Hebron, southern West Bank where no security fence or Gaza Strip. Terror alert elevated in all parts of Israel.
Hamas-Hebron claims responsibility for the double suicide attack.

August 13, 2004 - In northern West Bank, head of Itamar guard unit, Shlomo Miller, 50, father of seven, was murdered by Palestinian gunman Friday. Reinforcements called up shot the fleeing terrorist, Yusuf Hanan, from Kafr Beit Fourik, dead. Arafat's Fatah-al Aqsa Brigades claimed attack.

July 20, 2004 - Sergeant Itai Iluz, 21, of Afula & Sergeant Major Avishai Korisky, 24, of Upper Nazareth, were killed Tuesday when Hezbollah snipers fired at their military position on the Israel-Lebanon border.
