What is the Healing Hands Program?

          This program is an effort to address the physical injuries of Israeli terror victims. Although the Israeli government provides funding for many types of medical care and has one of the most advanced medical systems in the world, there are certain surgeries and procedures which are not covered. We have created a network of specialists willing to donate their services and expertise to these individuals. The primary goal will be to refer these victims to specialists in Israel and work within the system there to provide funding. (In fact, the first three cases referred to us have all been resolved by finding Israeli specialists willing to take on these patients.) When necessary, specialists in the U.S. will provide guidance to Israeli physicians and  where appropriate,  patients will be brought to the United States for treatment. All costs unrelated to the actual  surgeries and medical procedures, including transportation,  accommodations, medications and other expenses will be funded by donors to the Healing Hands program.

How was this program created?

            Two prominent surgeons contacted the All4Israel organization during  the same week. Unbeknownst to the other, both had exactly the same idea--- to offer their professional skills to help Israeli victims of terror who are in need of uncovered procedures or highly specialized care unavailable elsewhere. Each has contacted their colleagues, all of whom are top surgeons in their fields, resulting in a network of highly skilled physicians ready to volunteer their services.

Who will this program help?

            Unfortunately, thousands of innocent Israelis have been victims of terrorism.  Many suffer scars long after their internal injuries have healed. The emotional impact of this visible scarring is enormous. Imagine having to look in the mirror each day and see the damage caused by a suicide bomber--. to be constantly reminded of the horrific event by the reaction to your scars from a passerby in the street. These are the individuals Healing Hands seeks to help.

What can I do?

            You can help. By making a donation to the All4Israel Healing Hands program, you will help an individual who would not otherwise be able to afford a procedure that could change their life. You can put them on the road to emotional and physical recovery. You can change the picture in the mirror from a reminder of horror to a reminder that they are not alone, that we stand with them during these difficult times.
