Murdered in terror attack in Jerusalem's East TalpiotFirst

January 8 2017 – First Lieutenant Yael Yekutiel 20, of Givatayim completed her officer's training course in November and was serving in the Education Corps. 

She is survived by her parents and a sister. She was posthumously promoted to 1st Lieutenant. Her funeral took place at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
