May 5, 2019 - Ziad Alhamada, 49, father of seven from the Bedouin village Savian in the Segev Shalom region of the Negev, was critically wounded after a rocket hit the factory where he worked in Ashkelon. 

Ziad Alhamada, 49, of the Bedouin village Savian in the Segev Shalom region of the Negev, was critically wounded after a rocket hit the factory where he worked in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon.

The second victim in today’s attacks, he was rushed to hospital but died of his wounds shortly thereafter.

Survived by his wife and seven children. Liked and respected by the members of his community, he was buried at the Segev Shalom cemetery on Sunday
