June 14, 2010 - Command Sgt.Maj. Yehoshua (Shuki) Sofer 39, of Beersheba was killed and three policemen wounded when Palestinian terrorists opened fire on their vehicle at Al Fawar Junction south of Hebron on route 60.

June 3, 2010- Steve Averbach, 44, of Tel Aviv died on June 3, 2010, succumbing to injuries suffered in the May 18, 2003 bombing in Jerusalem, bringing the death toll to eight. The bombing left Averbach paralyzed from the neck down and in need of constant care. He was in and out of the hospital over the years since the attack and his condition had worsened in recent months.

March 18, 2010 - Manee Singmueangphon, a 34-year-old Thai foreign worker, was killed when a Kassam rocket hit the hothouse area in Netiv Ha'asara, a moshav in the Ashkelon coastal region, north of the Gaza Strip.

February 10, 2010 - NCO Sgt 1st Class Ihab Khatib, 28, of the Arab-Druze village of Kfar Maghar, was knifed to death at the Tapuach junction in the West Bank by a senior Palestinian police officer. Ihab Khatib was killed while in his vehicle at a traffic light in the Tapuah junction, south of Nablus. He was sitting with his window open when the Palestinian police officer pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the chest.

December 24, 2009 - Rabbi Meir Avshalom Chai, 45, of Shavei Shomron, a Torah teacher and father of seven, was killed in a shooting attack near the West Bank settlement of Shavei Shomron, west of Nablus, where he lived. He left the community of Einav at 4:30 PM Thursday after a Torah lesson and drove toward his home in Shavei Shomron. Terrorists in a car that overtook him opened heavy fire at him. Ten bullets hit Meir in the head. He was mortally wounded and died a few minutes later.

September 16, 2009 - Larissa Grishchenko, 39, of Hadera was the seventh victim of the suicide bomber who detonated himself at Hadera's open-air market shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, October 26, 2005. Fatally wounded in the attack, she died on Sept 16, 2009 in a Pardes Hanna hospital after lying unconscious in the hospital for almost four years.

May 9, 2009 - Gregory Rabinowitz, 56, of Ashdod was kidnapped and strangled to death by three West Bank Palestinians. Gregory Rabinowitz was a taxi driver. Three Palestinians got into his cab in Ashdod and asked to be driven to nearby Gan Yavne. There they directed him to a dirt path where they attacked him, tied him up and placed him in the trunk. When he struggle to free himself, they choked him to death. His body was found two days later, on May 11.

May 7, 2009 - Sergeant Noam Adin Rechter Levy, 20, from Mitzpe Netofa, an IDF soldier was killed Wednesday night during a Duchifat Reconnaissance Unit operational activity in the town of Bir Zeit north of Ramallah, during physical clashes with rioting Palestinians in the area. He sustained mortal gunshot wounds to the head during physical clashes with rioting Palestinians in the area.

April 11, 2009 - Shimon Shiran, 57, of Haifa, seriously wounded in the March 31st, 2002 terror bombing of the Matza restaurant, died of his wounds on April 11, 2009, having remained hospitalized for seven years.

March 15, 2009 - Warrant Officer David Rabinowitz, 42, of Rosh Haayin & Senior Warrant Officer Yechezkel Ramzarkar, 50, of Maale Ephraim, were killed in a shooting attack near Massua in the northern Jordan Valley.

January 8, 2009 - Major Roi Rosner, 27, from Holon was killed and another soldier sustained minor injuries during an operation in the central Gaza Strip, Thursday.
 Major Roi Rosner, 27 Sergeant Amit Robinson, 20, of Kibbutz Magal was killed by Palestinian sniper fire during the Armored Corp's activity in northern Gaza.

January 6, 2009 - Staff Sergeant Alexander Mashvitzky, a 21-year old Engineer Corps soldier from Beersheba was killed Tuesday morning and four were lightly injured during the IDF operation in northern Gaza City.

January 5, 2009 - Four IDF soldiers were killed and 24 others were injured, one critically and three seriously on Monday evening, in a friendly fire incident in northern Gaza. November 28, 2008 - Nine people, all Jews - most Israelis, some dual citizens - were murdered in an attack on the Chabad house, part of the terror assault in Mumbai that began Wednesday night. October 23, 2008 - Avraham Ozeri, 86, was killed and a police officer was moderately wounded Thursday morning when they were stabbed near a school on Vardinon Street in Jerusalem's Gilo neighborhood by a young Arab terrorist.

July 23, 2008 - Border Guard officer Lance Corporal David Shriki from Rishon Letzion, who was critically wounded in the shooting attack near the Lions’ Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem 12 days ago, died of his wounds Wednesday at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in the capital.

April 25, 2008 - Two Israeli guards, Shimon Mizrachi, 53, of Bat Hefer and Eli Wasserman, 51, of Alfei Menashe, were killed Friday morning in a shooting attack in an industrial zone near Nitzanei Oz in the Sharon region. The two were in charge of checking Palestinians arriving from the West Bank.
