May 5, 2019 - Moshe Agadi, 58, a father of four, was fatally wounded when a rocket hit his home in Ashkelon.
Moshe Agadi, 58, of Ashkelon, died early Sunday morning (5 May 2019) after being critically injured when a rocket fired from Gaza? hit his home in Ashkelon. He was standing outside the house when he was hit by shrapnel in the chest and abdomen. Magen David Adom paramedics provided emergency medical treatment at the site and immediately evacuated him to Ashkelon’s Barzilai Medical Center, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival
Agadi is the first Israeli civilian casualty since Operation Protective Edge in 2014. A Palestinian man working in Israel was killed in a similar rocket strike in Ashkelon last November.
One of 14 children of a family that immigrated from Iran, Agadi was a greengrocer in the Ashkelon market. He is survived by his wife and four children. His funeral took place today (Sunday, 5 May 2019) in his home city, Ashkelon.
